We recently updated our "Wish List" of desired classroom, curriculum, and office supplies.  If you have anything on this list or would be willing to go out and purchase something from this list, please let us know!  We greatly appreciate any help you can give!   

Cabrini kicks off its 8th year

 Welcome back to all our returning Cabrini families, and a big welcome to all our new Cabrini families!  The 2010-2011 school year is officially underway, as students began school on Monday, Aug. 23. 

This year, Cabrini once again boasts nearly 200 students.  We're especially proud to have a full Kindergarten class!  In addition, two new teachers joined our staff this year: Mrs. Terin Brooks in Kindergarten and Mrs. Kathy Torrington in First Grade.  Welcome to both of you!   

Nearly $20,000 received for Cabrini Scholarship Fund

At Cabrini, we believe that each child deserves the opportunity to receive a quality education.  On that belief, we have created the Cabrini Scholarship Fund, which provides important financial support to new and returning families.  We have a number of families that could greatly benefit from this fund, as they deal with the challenges of their economic limitations. 

To boost the fund, we received a $5,000 Challenge Gift from an anonymous donor who matched dollar-for-dollar every gift made to the Cabrini Scholarship Fund this summer.  We successfully reached the full match, and raised more than $18,000 in scholarship funds!  If you did not yet make your gift, there is still time!  You can mail your donation to the school at St. Frances Cabrini Academy, 3022 Oregon Ave., St. Louis, MO 63118.  You can also go online and make your gift.  Thank you in advance for your support!
