Why do you enjoy teaching at Cabrini? Cabrini kids are the best! They work hard, and they are kind and considerate of each other. It’s amazing to teach children from all over the world social studies.

How would you describe your teaching style and method? I like to use a variety of methods in my classroom depending on the grade level.
Because history is so vast, I try to make sure that I teach about every ethnic group that our school represents.  Every year I go with the curriculum, but I always include something about my students’ heritage.  We all are interested in our country, but we also need to know what our ancestors contributed.  The United States is a salad bowl, not a melting pot.  We have the privilege of experiencing that in our history and today.  We are all American, and what a privilege it is!  History rocks!

Personal:  I have been married to Rick for 32 years.  We have five children, four boys and one girl, ages 25 – 31.  I am a member of Queen of All Saints Parish in Oakville.
