Why do you enjoy teaching at Cabrini? I enjoy the richness brought from teaching a diverse student body.
What do students learn in 3rd grade? In religion students learn Old Testament stories and the prayer the "Apostles' Creed". Emphasis in math is on multiplication and division facts.Critical thinking skills are stressed in reading class. The science curriculum is centered on plants and animals. In social studies focus is on communities around the world.
How would you describe your teaching style and method? My teaching style is very structured. This provides an environment in which student learning is supported and they are encouraged to do their best. I use whole class, small group, partner, and individual learning activities. Various modalities and techniques are used when teaching. Inquiry based learning is encouraged.
