Help us meet a $5,000 Challenge Match
At Cabrini, we believe that each child deserves the opportunity to receive a quality education. On that belief, we have created the Cabrini Scholarship Fund, which provides important financial support to new and returning families. Looking to next school year, we have a number of families that could greatly benefit from this fund, as they deal with the challenges of their economic limitations.
To boost the fund, we have received a $5,000 Challenge Gift from an anonymous donor who will match dollar-for-dollar every gift made to the Cabrini Scholarship Fund by July 30, 2009. Please help us meet this challenge by making a gift! You can mail your donation to the school at St. Frances Cabrini Academy, 3022 Oregon Ave., St. Louis, MO 63118. You can also make your gift online. Thank you in advance for your support!

Newly-announced Archbishop greeted enthusiastically by students
Most Rev. Robert J. Carlson, the newly appointed Archbishop of St. Louis, visited St. Frances Cabrini Academy during his inaugural tour of the Archdiocese. Cabrini students greeted the new Archbishop as he arrived at the school. Principal Maureen DePriest and Pastor-Designate Rev. John Vien introduced Archbishop Carlson to the Cabrini community and together they visited several classrooms where the Archbishop assisted 1st graders with math activities and helped 2nd graders prepare for their First Communion. The visit concluded with an all-school assembly in which the Cabrini students presented a spiritual bouquet to the Archbishop, along with several Cabrini-related gifts. Archbishop Carlson affirmed his commitment to Catholic education and gave a special blessing to the school. For additional information about Archbishop Carlson and the Archdiocese, visit www.archstl.org.
